production planning

UPDATED!!!!
Due to being sick, i was sentenced to a week at home and i wasn't able to leave the house and was pretty much in bed all day. I managed to Re-edit the intro to the show making it look like less of a music video and more like a TV intro. I removed scenes that lacked conventions and added titles, left the Title screen for longer, left character introductions etc.. I have the plan completed and a clear vision in my head on what i want to do. the shooting is planned to be done on Wednesday the 14th but there is chance of rain which wont work with my scene. If that happens, it will be recorded potentially on the Thursday if not definitely on the Friday. The final editing will be done over the weekend/Monday ready to be presented on the following Tuesday.

3) Mise-en-scene planning

Cast-The three protagonists of the series, two boys (including myself) and one girl, make up the main cast. They are all between the ages of 17 and 18. Since the actors are the same age as the intended audience, we want this to be as relatable as possible. As such, I will of course require them to follow the script, but I also want them to act as authentically as possible so that the cast can develop a sense of individuality and avoid the feeling of a "fake crime drama."

Costume- Since the show is aimed at a teenage niche audience, its important to use clothing to make the audience feel a sense of relatability. I have to make an effort to represent teenagers as accurately as possible in the characters because the purpose of this crime drama is to give young people a sense of relatability. Teenagers use street wear as a means of self-expression since it is personal to them. One of our main goals with this crime drama is to really connect with the audience, and since we are targeting teenagers, I think this might be the best approach.

Makeup- Like i mentioned in my previous planning, there won't be much usage of makeup. This is mostly to abide by the of-com regulations as usually makeup is used in the film industry is to emphasise wounds and with a 12 rating given to us we wont be able to show blood and things of the same essance. On the other hand, I could record makeup using footage from the Halloween season and incorporate people's makeup-filled costumes into the mix. This can be used to symbolise how people in our production conceal who they are and maintain secrecy.

props- Contrary to my preliminary task, i will try to include more props. as this film is very digitally aimed. Props that'll be used will be things like computers, skateboards for the opening scenes, the USB which the whole plot of the story revolves around and possibly more however props are also limited due to the age restriction we were given.

Lighting- similar to in my preliminary task i will be focusing my lighting on being obscure in order to represent the drama conventions focusing most of my attention to shadows.

4) Shooting schedule

I dont ave any specific dates planned out and i did aim to shoot some videos at my actual Playboi Carti  concert which was supposed to be on the 22nd of November which unfortunately got postboned to a date which is yet to be announced so im not sure if i can get any footage from there.
I have already gathered a small cast of 4 people and will still need to find another small group to record the 'skatepark scene' overall i will be recording this and it should take around 1-2 weeks and i will try to compose alot of editing which should take around a week. I've been planning on recording on the first weekend of december and have gathered sufficient people. On the friday i could have some of the cast come to my house to record the first part of the scene
